About the organisation

    CEMVO Scotland is a national race equality intermediary organization with the aim of building the capacity of the ethnic minority voluntary sector and its communities.

About the vacancy

    The role will involve undertaking marketing and promotional activities to employers and ethnic minority job seekers, including undertaking outreach events and activities, to promote CEMVO Enterprise CIC’s Equal Jobs portal.

Key Responsibilities

    · To promote and market Equal Jobs service to both employers and ethnic minority job seekers via all Social Media platforms and community engagement events
    · Review and create new visual content for the purpose of marketing and circulation of Equal Jobs vacancies and services
    · Organising and supporting in-house and external community engagement events, including outreach events at places of worship, EM organisations, etc
    · Ongoing review of uptake of Equal Jobs services and analysing data
    · Organising and assisting with employer engagement events, including attending Jobs Fairs, etc.
    Assisting and supporting any other work related to Equal Jobs service.

Key Competencies

    · Knowledge and experience of digital marketing and social media, including writing content
    · Good Computer literacy skills
    · Ability to gather and report on data from digital marketing promotional activities
    · Skills and experience in using databases to undertake electronic mailings to promote events, newsletters, ·etc
    · Knowledge and experience of using Microsoft 365
    · Knowledge and experience of designing promotional materials·
    · Good organisational skills, including organising events
    · Ability to undertake outreach activities that target employers, EM community groups, places of worship, etc.
    · Ability to manage multiple tasks with good time management skill
    · Good level of verbal and written communication skills.
