About the organisation

Scotland is a nation of kind and compassionate people. When times get tough, we rally around, stepping up when needed and looking out for one another—it’s simply what we do. This spirit is ingrained in the core of Victim Support Scotland, where our team of volunteers embodies this ethos by offering guidance, emotional support, and practical assistance to anyone affected by crime, including victims, witnesses, and their families and friends.

As an independent charity powered by our volunteers, our mission is to support people from every corner of Scotland. We are on the lookout for more volunteers from all over the country to join us in continuing this essential work.

About the vacancy

Our volunteering roles are diverse, catering to various skills and experiences. While many volunteers directly support people affected by crime in the community and court environment, our opportunities extend beyond these realms.

We aim to provide volunteering options that align with the skills and experiences of anyone interested in supporting our organisation. We don’t expect you to have all the answers; the team here at Victim Support Scotland will be on hand to assist you and provide any training you may need.
