About the organisation
- Student Loans Company is a non-profit making Government-owned organisation to provide loans and grants to students in universities and colleges in the UK. Since 1989, we have enabled our customers to invest in their futures by delivering secure, accurate and efficient assessment, payment and repayment services.
About the vacancy
- Our Data Centre of Excellence (Data CoE) shapes the data strategy for the organisation, setting the standards that ensure our data is accessible, trusted, and ready to power insights that support SLC’s mission.
As a Graduate Data Analyst, you’ll play a meaningful role in delivering key projects across the Data CoE. This 24‑month rotational programme gives you hands‑on experience across critical business areas while you develop skills in data management, reporting, analytics, and performance insight.
If you’re driven by curiosity, motivated by learning, and excited about turning data into real-world impact, this programme is for you.
Through structured learning modules and day‑to‑day project work, you’ll build your technical skills, grow your professional confidence, and contribute directly to business decisions and outcomes.
You’ll rotate across four key teams—Data Management, Business Intelligence, Operations Business Intelligence, and Repayments Insight & Performance—giving you a unique understanding of the diverse data needs of a complex, UK‑wide Department for Education (DfE) organisation.
This is a fantastic opportunity to explore different areas of data before choosing where you want to specialise, all while working on projects that support students across all four nations of the UK.
Throughout the programme, you’ll collaborate with experienced colleagues, receive dedicated mentorship, and be supported to develop the skills and confidence you need to take the next step in your career.
