The School of Informatics is inviting applications for a Receptionist and Events Assistant to provide general reception and event support to Informatics staff, students and visitors. This post is open ended (permanent) and part-time (21.75 hours per week),working 12.35pm to 5.10pm, Monday to Friday.

We are particularly keen to include people from ethnic minorities who feel isolated or confined indoors. This position will provide activities to improve well-being, integration in the community, support for others in areas of deprivation with no access to wildlife. We want to diversify our team and share our sense of purpose with people with different lived experiences.

The purpose of this role is to manage the internal and external communications of the
organisation and promote a positive public image by managing the organisations social
media channels. You will have an understanding and experience of current and new
social media trends and technologies. An element of this role requires administrative
work.
